2nd Annual "Do The Griff" 4 mile run (walkers welcome) May 3, 8:30 AM

New this year: Kids Race sponsored by Body Tech Total Fitness

The students and staff at the Lincoln-Way High Schools and our community are important to me. Last year I realized my dream to give back to them in a unique and meaningful way by sponsoring a 4 mile run for the Lincoln-Way area community. Like last year's premier event, proceeds raised from sponsorships, concessions and entry fees from the 2nd annual "Do The Griff" run will benefit the students of Lincoln-Way East High School where I am Sports Medicine Advisor, Frankfort School District 157-C and Mokena School District 159.

Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Katzman presented an oversized check for $1,700
to District 157-C Board of Education President Courtney Stillman.
The proceeds from the “Do the Griff” race was split equally to benefit
the students in Frankfort District 157-C, Mokena District 159 and
Lincoln-Way East High School.

The run will be held on Sunday, May 3 at 8:30 AM, in historic Frankfort. It is being mapped out as a beautiful 4 mile run through the Butternut subdivision adjacent to Lincoln-Way East. Appropriately for this event, the final lap will be run around the East school track. Last year's event was a huge success and Dr. Katzmann and I hope that this year's run will be even better! Great students, great athletes, great parent and community support, great school administrators and teachers. Come out and support our second annual run, either as a runner or to cheer the runners on. We look forward to seeing you there!
