3rd Annual "Do The Griff" 4 mile run (walkers welcome) May 2, 8:30 AM
Also includes Free Kids Race! Three 100 yard dash races for ages 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Register kids the day of the race.
The students and staff at the Lincoln-Way High Schools, the local grade schools and our community are important to me. Two years ago I realized my dream to give back to them in a unique and meaningful way by sponsoring our first 4 mile run for the Lincoln-Way area community. Proceeds raised from sponsorships and entry fees from the 1st and 2nd "Do The Griff" run benefit the students of Lincoln-Way East High School where I am Sports Medicine Advisor, Frankfort School District 157-C and Mokena School District 159.

After the first event, Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Katzmann presented an oversized check to District 157-C Board of Education President Courtney Stillman. Each year, the proceeds from the “Do the Griff” race are split equally to benefit the students in Frankfort District 157-C, Mokena District 159 and Lincoln-Way East High School.
The 3rd annual run will be held on Sunday, May 2 at 8:30 AM, in historic Frankfort. It will be a beautiful 4 mile run through the Butternut subdivision adjacent to Lincoln-Way East. Appropriately for this event, the final lap will be run around the East school track. Our first two events were very successful. Dr. Katzmann and I hope that this year's run will be even better! Great students, great athletes, great parent and community support, great school administrators and teachers. Come out and support our 3rd annual run, either as a runner or to cheer the runners on. And be sure to bring your kids to participate in the free kids race. We look forward to seeing you there!
Dr. J. Aaron Wolfe
