4 Mile RaceMay 4th at 7:30am • Frankfort, IL

Dr. J. Aaron Wolfe

The students and staff at the Lincoln-Way High Schools and our community are important to me.  Ever since I became affiliated with them some thirteen years ago, it has been my dream to give back to them in a unique and meaningful way.

While I sponsor a scholarship for the Lincoln-Way athletes at graduation each year, I wanted to do something more.  After much thinking and planning, I have decided to sponsor a 4-mile run for the Lincoln-Way area community, with any funds raised from sponsorships, concessions and entry fees at the run going to additional scholarships at Lincoln-Way East High School where I am Team Doctor.

The Griffin 4 miler will be held in historic Frankfort.  It is being mapped out as a beautiful 4 mile run through the Butternut subdivision adjacent to Lincoln-Way East.  Appropriately for this event, the final lap will be run around the East school track.

Great students, great athletes, great parent and community support, great school administrators and teachers.  Come out and support my “dream” race, either as a runner or to cheer the runners on.  I look forward to seeing you there!
